We Sigma Kappa sisters live with heart we love and appreciate each other fully and authentically in the most beautiful way. It is my only hope that as President I am able to give back, and show each and every one of our members how truly valuable they really are. I find so much comfort and strength in my sisters, knowing that they will always have my back and will support me through anything. The women in this chapter are some of the most kind, intelligent, and charismatic people I’ve ever met and every day serving as their President is an honor. Words from the Chapter President : “Sigma Kappa has brought so much joy to my college experience. These include the sisterhood retreat, big and little reveal week, initiation and so many more events that strengthen the bonds of the Sigma Kappa sisters Because of this focus on involvement outside of Sigma Kappa, the sisters are able to engage with the campus and community in ways that are important to them by hosting and participating in a number of different events. As an organization Sigma Kappa encourages its members to be involved in their campus and community. The SK sisterhood continues to bring members together through many years to share experiences, serve others and have fun. Sisterhood plays a unique role in the life of each member and in each collegiate and alumnae chapter. Sisterhood : The connection of upholding the Sigma Kappa values creates an everlasting sisterhood. The Sigma Kappa sisters are constantly active in their philanthropies throughout the year by volunteering at Rockland Nursing Home and hosting their Sigma Kappa Week of Giving, where they give back to students and the community all week. Sigma Kappa was honored by the B+ Foundation with the "Heart of a Champion" award for their dedication and commitment to Victoria. The Sigma Kappa women visit their B+ Hero, Victoria in the hospital during her treatments, and spend extra time with her to maintain their special bond. They also celebrate UltraViolet week in the fall by hosting their Ultra Violet Gala, attending the Walk to End Alzheimers, and host a flag football tournament called the Dove Bowl.
